Students pursuing the Doctor of Ministry Degree program must have completed a Master's Degree.
The Doctor of Ministry Degree offers pastors, missionaries and leaders an opportunity for professional and personal growth.
The student will be equipped for a higher level of competent practice of ministry than that achieved in the foundation work.
The candidates are challenged to develop their ministerial skills to refine and articulate a Biblical theology of ministry while in a setting of ministry. The degree is ideal for those who serve the Church in congregational/ pulpit ministries, Para church organizations, mission agencies, and any other vocational ministry setting where advanced leadership skills and training would make a difference.
Doctor of Divinity Degree
The purpose of the Doctor of Divinity Degree (D.Div.) is to recognize Christian leaders for their faithful service to the Lord.
The Doctor of Divinity Degree is awarded as an honorary degree and granted to distinguished individuals who have achieved outstanding results in ministry, who have served the body of Christ faithfully for many years and demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and character traits.
Omega Bible Theological College recognizes and honors individuals of extraordinary achievement in these areas of achievement.
The Doctor of Divinity Degree is not automatically awarded. Potential recipients must first be nominated. We believe that successful nominees will be able to increase their ability to influence people for Christ.

OBTC Alumni Association and Africa Conference of Covenant Churches Seminars
In order to fulfill all the requirements for any of the Bachelor degree, students are required to attend all the Seminars and Conferences of OBTC and ACCC from time to time:
ACCC & OBTC will offer seminars during each academic year for students who wish to fulfill these requirements. However, attendance is not compulsory as long as students attend other seminars, which are relevant to their study.
Students who attend whilst doing their Certificate or Diploma will receive credit towards their Bachelor degree as recommended by the College Leadership.
Please be advised that students who attend any other seminars during the year (ie. other than ACCC & OBTC seminars) must submit a research paper of a total of 32-40 pages single-spaced in order to receive any seminar credit. Also note that the dates, times, proof of registration and attendance, seminar speakers and topics must be recorded.
However, students who attend any ACCC & OBTC seminars do not have to submit any papers on the convention they have attended. Once we have recorded their attendance, the credit is automatically allocated.
